The need for multiple Hard Disk Drives in a serial bus application, requires an interconnect capable of handling multiple lanes of data.  The Multi-Lane interconnect system supports both 2 Lane and 4 Lane applications.  Both products also contain 6 Sideband Signals for system management such as I2C and LED’s.
